BA, Board Member

Lidia is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where she received a BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology. In college, she realized how inadequate the mental health care services are across universities as well as the greater Bay Area. Lidia wanted to do something to improve accessibility and quality of mental health care, specifically for youth and young adults. Lidia has always had a passion for mentoring children and believes that teaching children proper self-care and mental health care strategies are vital for child development and overall success. With The Marsh Clinics® and her counseling work in Oakland Public Schools, Lidia hopes to be an advocate for mental health in the Bay Area and encourage people of all ages to take a more holistic approach to their health.
