Group for Loved Ones of Addicts

Support for Family & Loved Ones Affected by Addiction

Starting December · Oakland – Lake Merritt

Facilitated by Jann Scott, CADC II

If you care for someone struggling with addiction, you know how overwhelming it can be. The emotional toll, confusion, and constant worry can impact every part of your life. Many people feel isolated or judged, even when doing their best to help.

This psycho‑educational process group is designed specifically for family members, partners, and close friends. It provides a welcoming space to learn, heal, and connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through.

What You’ll Gain:

• A clearer understanding of addiction and recovery

• Tools to set healthy boundaries

• Relief from isolation through shared experiences

• Guidance from a trained professional

•  Support for rebuilding relationships in healthy ways

You don’t have to wait for your loved one to change before you begin healing. This group helps you step onto your own parallel path of recovery, restoring peace of mind and personal well‑being.
